The Holiday Season

Christmas this year was so much fun. Logan really got into the whole 'Santa' thing this year and was way excited to open his toys on Christmas morning. Hopefully this next Christmas Tyler gets into it as much as Logan did.

Dan and I had both sides of our family come to visit for the Holiday. My parents and 3 youngest siblings came up from Utah. His youngest sister and her family came from Havre. He had another sister and her family come from Helena. And his oldest sister and her family came from Missouri. It was so great to see everyone. We got a big family picture taken of everyone on Dan's side of the family. When I get the picture, then I will be sure to post it!!!

I cannot tell you how excited I am to have ordered this online. My goal is to get Logan reading in the next year. I always worry he is going to be behind in Kindergarden. Unlike most places around the U.S. Montana's kindergarden is a whole day! From, I think 8:30ish till 3:30ish. Logan is so funny, he talks about going to kindergarden all the time and how he is going to ride the bus there and be gone all day just like daddy. He isnt even going for another year and a half. Crazy kid!!!! Anyways, I hope this Hooked on Phonics thing works!!!!

Logan was way excited to sit on Santa's lap. This year he asked Santa for a BIG truck!!! After he got off his lap he asked Dan where is big truck was. He didn't realize he had to wait for Chrismas to get it.

For Preschool before Thanksgiving the boys made Turkey Hats!!!

The boys where way excited to get the snow stuff out when it started snowing a while back. They loved to wear Dans beanies.

For our ward Christmas party the nursery kids got to put on the play of Mary and Joseph. Logan was the innkeeper. He did a really good job standing on the stage.

There is a little hill by our house that the boys went sledding on after it snowed. It amazes me how much they love to play out side in the freezing cold.

Potty time for Tyler

I honestly do not remember when we started potty training Logan, or how we even did it. The past little while, Tyler has been wanting to get changed every time he pees in his diaper. He freaks out when he poops in them too. He knows that pee goes in the toilet, before baths every night him and Logan use the toilet, which is great. Hopefully this potty training thing happens fast since he actually wants to wear undies. It would be so nice to not have to buy diapers anymore :)

Halloween

For Halloween Logan was a horse (yah, wierd) and Tyler was a dragon. We went trunk or treating at the Stake Center, then we went trick or treating down main. They boys had fun!

Reba and The Band Perry

Last night (Thursday, Oct 22nd) Dan and I went to the Reba concert. The Band Perry opened for her. We sat in the 2nd row!!! It still amazes me how cheap the tickets are here compared to other places. It was a blast!!!

Rocky Creek Farms and Pumpkins

For Logan's preschool we went on a field trip to Rocky Creek Farms. It was a blast. We went on a hay ride to pick out pumpkins, we saw pigs and chickens.
The boys loved carving out the pumpkins this year. This is the first year they enjoyed it.

It has been a while since I posted last. So let me just catch everyone up on our fabulous life......

This was Logan after the Easter egg hunt at the Museum....

And of course Easter morning.....

We put Logan in swimming lessons for a few weeks.... HE LOVED IT!!!!

A few days ago we set up their bunk beds!!! They love it when we put blankets along the bottom bunk and its a little tent.

Dan is starting school again!!!! He should be graduating with his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in Management in the next 2-3 years!!! HURRAY!!!!

And I am starting up a little Preschool in my home for a few days a week during the school year. I hope it turns out well!!!

We also have 2 weddings in my family 6 days apart in August, so we will be in Utah for 10 days!!!

I will try to update more often!!! Have a wonderful summer!!!!!

We stayed in Bozeman this Christmas. They boys got a lot of toys and Dan and I got cloths, movies, chocolates and other stuff!!!

Our boys love being outdoors. They love jumping in puddles and getting dirty. I love living in Bozeman, it is so beautiful during the summer and fall. Bozeman has so many trails you can go on. We took our boys bowling for the first time last Monday with Grandma and Grandpa Tew. Tyler loved pushing the ball down the ramp, everytime the ball would knock down pins he would start clapping!!!

It took Logan a while to want to push the ball down the ramp, after we forced him to do it the first time he loved it.

Logan loves to read books while he is in bed at night. One night Dan and I found him asleep like this......

We went up to Helena in the middle of August for a little family get together. We took the boys on the carousel and then we went to a water park. We had a blast!!!!

This past Labor Day Weekend we drove down to Idaho for Dan's Grandmas 80th birthday. We meet Tiff and Nate and their two girls at the hotel in Idaho Fals and we took all the kids to the temple and to feed the ducks.

On Saturday we drove to Leslie, Idaho, which is about an hour and half outside of Idaho Falls, to Dan's Grandparents house to celebrate his Grandma's 80th.

Month of August.....

To start of the month we got a new car!!!! Our Dodge got totaled by hail damage and our insurance gave us more for it than we bought it for so we decided to invest in a new car, its a 2007 Chevy Impala. Maybe I will put up pictures later.

Tyler turned 1 on the 13th!!!

And finally...today is our 4 year anniversary!!!!! So, happy anniversary to us!!!!

Dan and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon...almost 4 years ago. Now my little sister and her handsome beau are going on a cruise for their honeymoon. Let's just say I am a tad bit jealous of them!!! I want to go on a another cruise!!!!

We are going to Bear Lake in July!!!!!!!!! I miss Bear Lake. My family use to go every July for 2 weeks since I was 12!!!! I can't wait to go boating, waverunners, laying in the sun, camping!!!!!!!! HURRAY!!!!!!!

This past week has been really crazy for us. We were suppose to close on our house last Wednesday so we told our landlord that we would be moved out by Sunday because he was having someone move into the apartment on Monday. Since we did not close on Wednesday we had to stay with Dan's parents. We finally closed on Tuesday (HURRAY)!!!!!!! and we are moving in tonight!!!

I really hate living out of a suitcase. To make this whole week worse we have all been sick the entire week (except for Bruce, that little stinker!!!) Dan and I usually have a really good schedule for our little family.

Our little Logan turns 2 years old today!!! The past two years have gone by so fast! We celebrated his birthday yesterday because Dan's oldest sister was in town and she is leaving this morning. Here are some pictures....

I apologize in advance for this blog...I normally don't type like this!

I know it is a week away until we are officially homeowners (I probably just jinxed it), but if it was not for the wonderful and amazing husband of mine and his stubbornness with money, we would not be getting a home. Dan and I have been on a really tight budget since we have been married. I MEAN REALLY TIGHT!!!! We would only get the cheapest 2 bedroom apartment to rent (even if it wasn't the greatest)we hardly ever go out to eat!!! And the hardest one for me has been our monthly grocery budget....$300.00 (for the whole month!!!) not just on food, but on diapers and wipes and toiletries and EVERYTHING!!!! Sometimes I go over but I am getting way better.

We actually kind of started looking for homes in 2008 but we had our unexpected baby (Tyler) come along!!! YEP!!! He was a BIG surprise!!!! And we also paid of our car. Dan is an amazing financial person. He works really hard and it has started to pay off. (I must add in, that I also work 40+ hours a week watching a bunch of neighbor kids!!!) But with out doing that I would be completely bored at home with just my own 2!!!

Anyways.....I just wanted to say.... THANKS TO MY WONDERFUL, AMAZING, CARING AND LOVING HUSBAND for getting us this far. I love you Dan!!!!

Me, the boys and of course Jackie flew down to Utah yesterday for Thanksgiving week. I figured that kids fly free under 2 so it would be a cheap flight for three of us!!!

We are on day #4 of potty training and it is going REALLY GOOD!!!!!!! He wakes up from a nap dry now and he only has about 2 accidents a day now! :)

Over the last couple days Logan has been really interested in using the potty. He knows when he has to go and he goes. We are now on day #2 of no diapers and it is working a whole lot better than I thought. He only had 5 accidents yesterday (not bad!!!!) He loves using his own little potty and putting his 'big boy' undies on. I am way excited to be almost done with Logan's diapers!! HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!

This past month has gone by so fast!!! Tyler already weighs 9 pounds!!!

Here are some updates of things that have been happening....

I am not watching kids anymore because I got a transcription job!!!! I am sooooooooo excited. I love being able to work at home.
Dan has lost 16 pounds on "Ashley's low calorie" diet (just in the past month too!!!!)
We are going to pay off our car next month and be 100% debt free (but hopefully not for long) we are kind of looking for houses!!!
Dan got his LSA license (insurance license)
We had our 3 year anniversary
Our little boy turned 18 months and is FINALLY in nursery!!!!

I went in yesterday at 7:30 am to be induced. They started my IV at 8:45. I got my lovely epideral at 11:30ish and had our cute little boy at 1:47 with only 15 min of pushing!!! He weighed 7 lbs 6 oz but is now down to 7 lbs 1 oz. Everything went way faster and better than my 1st. We will post more pictures soon.....

We took Logan to Seven Peaks water park in Provo. He loved running around and playing in the water. His favorite place was the wave pool, he would sit down and wait till the waves came and smashed into him.

We did anther ultrasound last Thursday. Our little boy weighs about 3 pounds right now and is completely breached. Hopefully he will turn within the next 3 weeks and gain some weight!!!

Our Vegas trip was really fun and nice and WARM!!! We only made it half way down the strip because we just couldnt walk any longer (by we I probably mean just me!) My uncle came up from Arizona and my Great Grandma came from L.A. It was really nice to see all of them.

In one week we will be going to my sisters college graduation and then off to Vegas with my family (all of which is paid for!!! Thanks to my wonderful Grandparents!!!). We will be in Vegas just until Sunday and then drive up to Salt Lake. Dan will be flying home that night so he can work, but I will be staying there for a WHOLE WEEK!!!! I am way excited. I have missed living in Utah and Dan, being the sweet husband he is, told me to stay for a week!!!!

Thank you sweetie for being the best husband EVER!!! I love you!!!!

Baby bump.....

I am 5 months pregnant and am finally starting to realize a difference. I never took any baby bump pictures with Logan and now I wish I had so I could compare them and see if you get bigger with the second than you did with the first. Anyways....we went and had our ultrasound done last week and we are way excited about another boy (which puts alot of pressure one our next, and hopefully last, kid to be a girl). Well, the ultrasound went great except for where my placenta is located. I have what is called placenta previa, the placenta is on the bottom of my uterus, which means that unless it moves up I am going to have the easiest delivery in the world. Anyways...I never babble on about things so I will update on how things are going later!!!

This was Logans 1st easter. I didn't think he would do as good as he did. He would walk over to an egg, pick it up and then drop it in the basket. Maybe next year he will help us dye the eggs :)

Parties 'R' Us

We went with Dan's family to Parties 'R' Us. It is an indoor party place with big blow up toys for kids (and adults). Logan hated it at first but then warmed up to it after a while (as long as daddy was with him). I think he would have enjoyed it more if there werent so many kids running around.

Just to let everyone know....We find out on the 10th (next friday) if its a boy or girl!!!!

The other weekend was such a nice weekend (hard to believe since its been snowing pretty much all week) so we decided to go in the hot tub and then have a fire and make smores. I hope it stops snowing soon I am getting soooooo sick of it!!!

Logan loves laying on the floor with his pillow, eating a PB and J sandwich while watching Shrek (we do this on a daily basis). I am amazed that kids don't get bored doing the same old stuff every day.

Logan loves it when Dan comes home from work and they play chase. Dan started chasing Logan. Logan turned around, ran, tripped and fell right into the edge of the coffee table. OUCH!!! It is actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Lets just say we are going to be way more careful about playing chase!!!!

On Logans birthday my Grandma took us out for lunch and McDonalds. Later we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Tew's home and had hamburgers with Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Logan had a blast digging into his cake and running around the his cousins.

This last weekend we went with Dan's parents to Leslie Idaho to see his grandparents. Logan got really sick while we were there so he vegged all day long on Saturday. Dan and I went four wheeling and had a good time relaxing all weekend. It was really good to be able to go see his grandparents.

I cant believe that Logan is almost a year old. He is growing up so fast.....

-He is walking everywhere
-He loves eating blueberry belgium waffles (he can eat a whole by himself)
-He loves playing chase with daddy
-He likes to help take dishes out of the dishwasher
-He can never sit still. He always has to be running around
-He swings on the kitched cabinets
-He loves his sippy cup
-He loves playing with his cousins
-He likes the first 5 min of baby eintsien
-Whenever he hears the bath water he runs into the bathroom and tries to get into the tub

Teasha's Wedding

Dan's little sister, Teasha, got married on Saturday. We drove up to Billings for the wedding and then came back down to Bozeman for the reception. It was a beautiful wedding. We are so happy for the newlyweds. All of Dan's siblings are married now!!!!

On Dan's birthday we went and got pictures taken for his sister wedding. Then we went at set up for the reception. For dinner I took him out to Famous Daves (which was delicious!!!) and then we went to his parents house and had cake.

One of my friends gave me some baby einstein movies for Logan. I turned one on for him and he loved it. He just sat there and starred at the t.v. (for about 5 min and then got distracted). Oh, and you see that sippy cup on the floor? Well....Logan has become an expert sippy cup drinker!!!!

Every year Bozeman has a Christmas Stroll down Main Street. They have vendors, food, sales and sleigh rides. This was my first year going and I had fun. We got free hotdogs and free hot chocolate. We saw Santa Clause so Logan got to sit on his lap for the first time (thats all we took pictures of, sorry) he was shocked when we sat him on Santa's lap, it was so cute.

Logan hasent been feeling well lately. The only way he would fall asleep last night was hanging half way off the couch!!!

The other day Logan was playing with an empty gatorade bottle. The bottle went underneath the coffee table so he followed it underneath.

I am so glad Logan is liking his baths alot more. I guess he never hated them he just didnt know what to do. Now he loves splashing around and playing with his rubber ducks.

It snowed!!! and is still snowing!!!! This was Logans first snow fall. He has loved starring out the window watching the snow fall so we decided to take him over to Grandma and Grandpa Tew's to go sledding.

Lately Logan has been wanting to sit up everytime he is drinking. So, we decided to give him a sippy cup and see how he does. He didnt do to bad....we are still trying to get him to tilt the cup up when he drinks. He will get it down soon.....

Also....for all of you who do not know...I am working at home as a nanny!!! I love being a nanny, it not only lets me stay home with Logan, but I also get paid to stay home, play and watch movies. It is wonderful. I nanny 3 kids.... Gwendolyn is 2, Henry is 3, Ryan (its a girl) is 2 months old. Henry and Ryan are brother and sister. Logan loves it. I am glad he can interact with other kids now. I will post some pictures of all of them later.
