Logan turns 5!!!

I cannot believe my little Logan is already 5!!! We wanted a Mater cake (which obviously did not turn out so well). And his cousin Sophie got a cash register for Christmas, so ever since then he has wanted one for his birthday. Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Bruce gave him one of those Nite Lite animals that project stars onto the ceiling (which is a must have every night now). And Aunt Kim and Uncle Roy gave him a brand new scooter (which is not so brand new anymore). He had a great birthday and is so ready to start Kindergarten!!!

Our California Adventure

About two months ago we decided to go with my entire family to Disneyland. I figured since we where going to Disneyland we should take the plunge and arrive a day earlier so we could take the boys to Sea World. Let's face it...we are probably not going to be going back to Cali anytime soon. We also decided to take the boys to the beach for the first time. They did a good job waiting in lines and going on rides. We stayed at the Grand Californian and from our hotel window we could watch the World of Color every night. We had a blast. I am pretty sure the boys won't forget going to Disneyland.

Buddy the Dinosaur

The museum in town tries to do a lot of fun family stuff. The other weekend we had a visit from Buddy off the Dinosaur Train. The boys where way excited to see buddy, until we got up to him then Tyler would not go near him. Logan warmed up to the characters pretty quick. I think he will have fun meeting all the characters at Disneyland when we go next Friday!!!! (HURRAY!!!!) Hopefully Tyler will get warmed up to them fast.

Christmas 2012

The boys are getting very specific about what they want Santa to bring for Christmas. They both wanted a big toy fire truck and a camera. They also got various other toys. I love how Christmas is getting more and more exciting as they get older.

Dan turns 28!!!

Sledding

The boys have had so much fun sledding this last winter. We have been way to many times to count. Logan is beginning to be a little daredevil and go over some jumps on his sled. Tyler likes to slide down the hill with out a sled.

Catching up

I have realized that it has been 2 months since I last posted. So this is going to be a catch up post.... The boys had a lot of fun carving pumpkins this last Halloween.

Logan wanted to be Buzz Lightyear again. Tyler was not really into dressing up, but he wore Thomas the Train (for a little while).

For preschool we had a little Halloween party for the kids. Logan and Tyler loved watching the "witches brew".

After our mini Halloween party we took all the kids to the assisted living place. The elderly loved having them there. They went trick-or-treating and played games.

The boys where way excited for out first snow fall. As soon as it started snowing they wanted to go out side and go sledding. Of course, we also had to build a snowman.
